The Ode to Abstraction Series was created from a single slide taken just after dawn from a butte overlooking the Palouse farmlands (Washington). I had long wanted to create a series that explored abstraction. It was a challenging project with one image evolving into another. Eventually a circular set of images and a linear set of images developed. The series is still in progress.
