The Global Warming Series has been created from both slides and print negatives processed to reverse the effect of light in the images in order to achieve a more ominous sky and to aid in the shifting of colors to suggest a place that has become too warm to inhabit. The series seeks to visualize the degradation of the planet due to the numerous ways in which the Earth has been disrespected to the detriment not only of the planet itself but also of the life that depends upon it. Images were taken in Death Valley, in Rhyolite ghost town, and in the White Mountains. Scorched Moon is a more graphic image with the same message.
