Global Warming Theme

Most of these images were created when I lied to my scanner, telling it to process a positive when I was actually feeding it a negative. By intensifying the reddish tone already in the images, I got the very hot look that implies an over-heated planet, more like Venus than Earth. Most of the images were photographed somewhere in or around Death Valley. That location itself is often hotter than humans tolerate well. So what will the planet look like if global warming really heats the place up?
