Ode to Abstraction Series

This series is a study in creating abstracts from reality, using a number of ways of disguising reality. Both the circular and linear portions of this series are derived from a single photograph of farmlands. The slide itself was used to create the circular forms. Most viewers see the forms, not the land, as intended when the aim is abstraction. The linear versions use strips out of the landscape.
