Surreal Series

I still can't believe it myself, but the first two images were actually shots of a bubbling mountain stream. However, since the light was quite bright, I dialed the exposure down in order to preserve the water motion. This threw the rocks into darker tones than they actually were. I was quite close up, so the result looks like large hewn rock forming fortress or dungeon walls. A very surrealistic result. Using those two slides and 3 others shot at the same time, I set to work creating surreal images of the same tone. Not a surrealist style that Dali would approve, but definitely a surrealistic feel. It was addictive. I have more than I've shown here.....
