The Secret Desires of Scarecrows
On the surface these works appear to be just humorous depictions of scarecrows, but beneath the surface you will find some very human emotions and desires. Some of life's largest questions revolve around control over our own lives, how we handle things we can't change, how we reach our personal potential. Albert wants to be brainy like Einstein. Rosie wants to be a person of substance, culture, and refinement. Poor Runaway has at least gotten down off his post, but we have no clue as to the success of his search for his true self.
